Pasture Processing connects livestock owners with independent mobile butchers and processors. These services are intended for custom slaughter and processing of animals owned by the customer.

Under federal and North Carolina law, meat produced through custom slaughter is not inspected and may not be sold. Custom-processed meat is intended solely for consumption by the animal's owner, members of the owner's household, and non-paying guests.

By using this website and submitting a booking request, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are the owner of the animal being processed, or are acting on behalf of the owner.
• The meat produced is for personal consumption only and will not be sold, resold, or distributed for commercial purposes.
• Pasture Processing does not operate as a slaughter facility, processor, or meat distributor and does not supervise or control the services provided by independent butchers.
• All processing services are performed by independent service providers, and Pasture Processing acts only as a platform to connect livestock owners with those providers.

Customers are responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding livestock processing and meat distribution.
